Solis What I hear here, and then hear now I do not understand as how The words that fail to bring me calm The voices give their screeching psalms What I see here, and then see there The incongruent everywhere The things I feel, the things I see And from this can’t set myself free The here is here, the there is there This feeling I just cannot bear The voices laugh, delusional From the cuckoo’s nest I did fall And with madness inside of mind A fate that is so far from kind The demons stalk, the shadows talk No matter where I run or walk The face you see upon my face The fact that I can’t find my grace A woeful Fate that just won’t sate That my madness did just create And so it’s here that I now lie Waiting for the day that I’ll die Though I try hard to heal and cope The fact I still cling onto Hope But this is now, the present day And I’m hurting in many ways The voices laugh, this is not fun Without
